FLER ÄR BÄTTRE!
Basfrekvenser är långa ljudvågor som studsar runt mycket i rummet. Det gör att man inte kan höra vilken riktning ljud under 80 hz kommer ifrån. Däremot kan det kännas i kroppen när det kommer en "knuff" av bas.
En fördel med att man inte kan höra riktningen är att när det finns en bra botten i ljudet så känns det som man befinner sig mitt inne i konserten eller filmen.
En nackdel är att basvågorna, när de studsar runt, skapar toppar och dalar. Tänk dig som att du ritar flera vågor över varandra på ett papper. Där en topp möter en annan topp blir ljudet högre. Där en topp möter en dal så släcker de ut varandras energi. Det är också så aktiv brusreducering fungerar.
Detta kommer påverka basfrekvenser lite olika beroende på deras längd och vart de möts. Så olika frekvenser kan försvinna på en position. Med flera basar får man mycket jämnare ljudtryck då de genom sin placering skapar flera utgångspunkter för vågmönstren som uppstår och då täcker upp för områdena som annars släcks ut.
